Why Pathways exists

Families Need A Clear Explanation Before They Need Another Program

Marina created Pathways for families who have already tried reminders, homework help, apps, tutoring, or school support and still do not understand why a capable student keeps struggling. Her first goal is not to sell a large program. It is to organize the pattern, identify realistic goals, and give the family a useful next step.

Her work is especially suited to students whose challenges show up in writing, reading, planning, follow-through, confidence, or the growing pressure of high school. Marina works with public school, private school, and homeschool families, including North Carolina families using ESA+ funding.

How That Experience Shapes Her Work With Students

Legal and professional writing taught Marina to look for the point where thinking becomes unclear: an unstated assumption, a missing step, an idea that has not been organized, or a deadline that was never turned into a workable plan. Those same breakdowns often appear in high-school writing and long-term assignments.

Coaching taught her that a good plan must make sense to the person using it. Students need explanations they can understand, strategies they can repeat, and a path toward doing more without an adult standing beside them. Parents need a clear account of what is happening and what progress should look like.
